EU Regulation No. 2016/679 (GDPR) 

Geco snc, owner on the site www.ge.co.it, in accordance with the provisions of the European legislation on data protection and privacy under Article 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679, informs that the personal data collected will be processed in accordance with the above-mentioned legislation. In particular: 

Purpose of processing 

The personal data you provide, exclusively on a voluntary basis, for registration to events or access to a specific service, may be processed only for the following purposes: purposes strictly related and necessary to the use of the Site and access to and delivery of the services requested; purposes functional to the conduct of research, economic and statistical analysis, sending of informative material and updates on events carried out by the company or its partners or of informational interest in the scope of GECO snc. No automatic profiling or personal data aggregation activities are carried out. 

Method of treatment

The processing of personal data consists of the collection, recording, organization, storage, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, blocking, communication, dissemination, deletion and destruction of the same data, including the combination of two or more of the above operations. The processing of personal data is carried out for the above purposes, in accordance with the provisions of Article 13 of the European Regulation No. 679/2016, whether on paper, computer or telematic support, by means of electronic or otherwise automated tools, in compliance with the rules of confidentiality and security provided for by the regulations in force. Personal data will be kept exclusively for historical or statistical purposes, in accordance with the law, regulations, EU legislation and codes of ethics and good conduct signed in accordance with Article 40 of EU Reg. 2016/679, for a period as per current legislation (usually 10 years), or, if not subject to any law, for a period not exceeding five years. Beyond that period, personal data will be kept anonymously, or will be destroyed. The aforementioned personal data will be processed in paper, computerized and telematic form, and entered into the relevant databases that can be accessed only by the owner and its appointees. With regard to data processed in electronic form, it is emphasized that all appropriate security measures have been taken to protect the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of the data subject as per Art. 22 par. 3 of EU Reg. 2016/679. 

Nature of provision of personal data and consequences of refusal to respond 

The provision of personal data is optional. Any refusal to provide them may result in the inability to use the Site and benefit from the related Services. The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses indicated on this Site entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, necessary to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message. 

Communication and dissemination of data 

The data may be communicated, in compliance with applicable regulations, to external companies appointed to perform services of various kinds, such as, by way of example, the maintenance and support of the Site and related Services. Personal data are not subject to dissemination or transfer to third parties for aggregation purposes.

Rights of data subjects 

In relation to the processing of your personal data, you have the right to request from GeCo snc: access: you may request confirmation that there is or is not a processing of data concerning you, as well as further clarification about the information referred to in this Information Notice, as well as to receive the data themselves, within the limits of reasonableness; rectification: you may request to rectify or supplement the data you have provided to us or otherwise in our possession, if inaccurate; deletion: you may request that your data acquired or processed by GeCo snc be erased, if they are no longer necessary for our purposes or where there are no disputes or controversies outstanding, in case of revocation of consent or your opposition to processing, in case of unlawful processing, or if there is a legal obligation to erasure; limitation: you may request the limitation of the processing of your personal data, when one of the conditions set forth in Art. 18 of the GDPR; in this case, your data will not be processed, except for storage, without your consent except as explained in the same article in paragraph 2. opposition: you may object at any time to the processing of your data on the basis of our legitimate interest, except where there are our legitimate reasons for processing that override your own, for example, for the exercise or our defense in court; your opposition will always override our legitimate interest in processing your data for marketing purposes; portability: you may request to receive your data, or to have it transmitted to another data controller indicated by you, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. In addition, pursuant to Article 7(3) GDPR, we inform you that you may exercise your right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on your prior consent. Finally, we inform you that you have the right to file a complaint before the Supervisory Authority, which in Italy is the Garante per la Protezione dei Dati Personali. 

Right to be forgotten

The data subject shall have the right to obtain from the data controller the erasure of personal data concerning him or her without undue delay, and the data controller shall be obliged to erase the personal data without undue delay, if one of the grounds set forth in Article 17 of the GDPR exists.
